Our new puppy! M & I finally decided to name her Sophie. Not an easy process I realized, choosing a name. Anyhow, I adopted her from a couple that lives at the Xai Xai beach. Their dog had a litter of 6, and Sophie was the only one left unclaimed. So, they gave her to me! She was born on May 2nd, and she is a German Shepherd-Rottweiler mix. She needs to be vaccinated and de-wormed still, which will hopefully happen tomorrow. And, she is suffering from a crazy flea-infestation. Poor girl. The first day I brought her home, she was really scared of everything and everyone, and didn't want to come out of her little makeshift "house" (she's going to be an outside dog). But now, she comes running to me! I love it.

I spent the whole day yesterday looking for the best puppy food to get her. Can you tell what kind of mother I am going to be? I know now why people go nuts over their dogs.
